NEW Pictures From The Gold Coast

Isn’t the Gold Coast magnificent at this time of year!

We’ve had some warm weather, lots of rain and now a welcome cool change. It doesn’t stop people getting out and about though. From my balcony I can always see people running, walking their dogs, riding bikes or taking their children for a stroll, even in the wettest or warmest weather.

But for me, I’ve taken the opportunity to get in some extra trips to Lamington National Park, Springbrook National Park, Mount Tambourine, The Hinze Dam (great cafe there by the way) and Coombahbah Lakelands as well as the regular pictures I take on The Broadwater.

We’ve added so many new photo albums to the Gold Coast Australia Gallery. Here’s just a small sample …

Views To The Gold Coast

This photo overlooking the high rises of The Gold Coast, the hills and the ocean was taken from on the top of Springbrook National Park. A fabulous place to visit.

Breath Taking Views

We were so happy with our pictures of Springbrook National Park that I’ve even turned one into a giant poster. The views from every lookout on this mountain top (south of Brisbane and west of the Gold Coast) had me captivated even though we were braving walking in the rain.

There’s no doubt, I’ll be going back again really soon to do the 6 km walk that encompasses some of the best scenery this country has to offer.

Picture shows my daughter in the foreground and the enormity of Canyon Lookout spanning a long way, into the distance.
